Good Morning!

Hey Cira,

I finally made it back online.

Monday morning I just couldn't lay there any longer.  I wake up a lot through the night.  Especially around 3:30 - 4:00.  I have a tough time getting back to sleep.  I fear my sleep apnea is not fully resolved and I should be using my CPAP machine.  I hate it!  I hate it!  I hate it!  I guess I'm only hurting myself by not using it.  Do I sound like a baby if I say I want to cry?

I think I'm just tired and whiney.  Life is good.

My sister is IM'ing me from Washington State.

Talk to you later.

You should get tested to see if you still need the cpap machine.  Gino feels like the air is being forced in too hard and now he sleeps without it.  I haven't seen him have any apnea issues.  I lay there sometimes and watch while I watch tv to see if I need to tell him to put it on. He barely snores now.

I hope you get to sleep better . Please talk to your doctor about it ok? Don't make me come up there with all my kids in tow to make you go to the doctor! LOL

Take care sweetie.

Talk with you soon.  My love to you and Joe!

I would love for you and all of the kids to come after me!  It would be wonderful to finally meet you face to face.

Actually, I had another sleep study done a couple of months ago.  I had not been sleeping with it for a few months.  Like Gino, it felt like it was blowing me away.  I told my doctor, so he sent me for another sleep study just to be sure.  It came out OK, but not the way I thought.  Originally, I was having 45-50 apnea episodes per hour.  The new study showed less than 9 per hour and they were very mild.  I never stopped breathing.

I've been having such problems sleeping that the sleep doctor wanted me to try 3 things: 1) use a light therapy lamp for 30 minutes each morning as soon as I get up, 2) take Melatonin an hour before going to bed to help me fall asleep and stay asleep, and 3) use the cpap (the level has been lowered from 14 to 4).  So, I forget about the light because I'm always in a rush in the morning.  I sometimes remember the Melatonin and I should remember it because it really helps me fall asleep.  I just get so tired of taking pills!  And, I hate the cpap.  I do have a new machine coming this Friday.  I had one like this for a month to record my sleep pattern.  What's different about it, is that it only kicks in when you need it and with the correct flow.  It will never go over 4 unless I stop breathing.  Hopefully I'll get it together so I can get my sleep pattern changed to a more nocturnal theme.  That is our goal.  Then maybe I can get rid of the cursed machine forever!

Thanks so much for your concern.  I will keep you posted on my progress or lack thereof!

Take care,
