Newly formed Harford County Group

Hi all,

I am attempting to become an OH group leader but in the meantime, I'd like to see what interest there is in having a group together in the Harford County Area. Of course, anyone willing to drive to our location is welcome to join. I was thinking of using the local library system. The two locations that seem to make the most sense are the Bel Air branch or Abingdon branch.

If anyone has any suggestions, please let me know. I have not called yet to make any reservations because I would like to see how many people would be open to it and what days and times you could make it. The branches close by 8pm so our latest meeting during the week would be 7pm. I was thinking a monthly meeting would work out best.

Love to hear from you all and hope there is lots of interest! Thanks.

Good luck with this Nicole. If I still lived in Edgewood, I'd definitely be there. As it stands, I may occasionally attend.

My regards,
Ren

Good luck Nic!

I hope you get a few people to attend. The group will grow with time.

I could probably come once in awhile, but I don't know if I could make it every month since I'm down in Dundalk.

Good luck with this Nic! Even though I am not in Harford County, I am not all that far away. Because of my schedule, I cannot commit to meeting regularly. However, it would be good to know that this existed this close to home. I would make an effort to attend whenever I could.

Nicole I wish you the best of luck in your starting up a support group. It will be very rewarding in the end. Someone told me this once and it sticks all the time. Build it and they will come.

Many time I sat at group in the beggining thinking would anyone come and there are some nights that there are a few people and others there are more. Life gets busy and kids and all that but if you keep with it they will keep with you. Any questions, dont hesitate to ask

I'd love to join if I didn't work the night shift :(.  Bel Air isn't much of a drive from Rosedale (even if it sounds like it's far). It's only about a 20-25min drive.  Although, I could always ask to work day shift once a month so I could attend. Hmmmmm now you've got me thinking....
