St. Agnes support group?

When ar these meetings? Do any of you attend? Any other meetings in Baltimore?

Every major hospital in the area has a baraitric support group. I have been to those at GBMC and St. Agnes. If you search under each hospital's web site, you should find them.

There are 2 sets of support groups at St. Agnes. Those for Drs. Averbach and Singh. And those for Dr. von Rueden.

Besides the hospitals, several regional groups have sprung up via members on this board. They always post these here when they are coming up. So keep an eye out for them as well in case any of these are more convenient for you.

Hello!

I attend the support group meetings at St.Agnes.  They were just changed to meeting on Monday nights. Bypass and sleeve patients of Drs. Singh and Averbach meet on the first Monday with the Lapband patients meeting on the third Monday.

Each month there is a moderator or speaker....it is a good way to talk with others who have had the same procedure as you....and it is always a good source of information.

We have also just started an online support group on Yahoo....please join the group there for additional support...the address for that group is:

I also am an OH Certified Support Group Leader and we have a meeting in the Easton area on the Eastern Shore on the second Thursday of the month....let me know if you need any information on that.

Hey Deb just curious where and when is your support group in Easton. Im nearby and also know some others in the area who have had bariatric surgery who would probably like this.
