Fast food?????????
I shared this info on another forum and it really opened some eyes. Everyone wants to know what fast food is okay after WLS. So this may make you think twice. My surgeon and nut said Wendys chili was okay as well as a tender roast chicken breast sandwhich from KFC and a chicken taco minus sour cream from Taco Bell. Those are actually on my what to eat list from my nut! They said Not to eat salad from McDonalds because they add sugar to it for the taste. Say what???? My goodness! LOL Anyway here is the link :o)

McDonalds Asain salad is full of sugar like 12 grams. But when you are early out you can never fit that entire salad at one sitting. I could only fit 1/3 of salad at once, then later in the day I would some more and give some to hubby or get rid of it.

Life after wls is about changing your lifestyle. You learn to make the right choices for you. There was a time when I thought wow I could never eat that again but that is not so. I remember I would sit and eat a pound of hershey kisses on one sitting and now I might just eat 2 or 3 once in a blue moon.

The only things i've tried from fast food are Wendy's chili (I actually had some Friday night!) and pintos and cheese from Taco Bell. When I have taste for sour cream, I come home and put some FAGE on it...you can't tell the difference between that and sour cream and it gives you a little extra protein!!
