Hey Candy!!!

How'd you get my pic in your post??  LOL!!  Cause that's what I feel like this a.m.!!!  It wouldn't be quite as bad if the office wasn't a pleasant 90 degrees, I guess!!!!!

Have a wonderful day!!!!  Again, I was SO glad to finally meet you!!!

Wow! What a great weekend!!!

Today I am grateful...

1. That I spent a wonderful Sunday morning with the lovely ladies of OH! I needed that more than you could imagine. When I left yesterday, I was so pumped up! I felt wonderful spending time with so many of you and connecting!  Today, I finished my leftover breakfast from Mimi's of Crab&Avocado omelet that was simply delightful.

2. I had a great time with my kids on Friday snow tubing and that I'm going away this weekend and will do it again as well as few other things that are unmentionable!

3. My Pete will be home late tonight from his business trip. That of course always brings a smile to my face!

4. The scale is moving again, thanks to cutting out the carbs. I'm happy I finally figured out my "stall" and was able to alleviate it.

5. I have a walking buddy lined up for 3x a week!!!  EXCITING!

6. I am in an incredible mood (see #1)!

My walking buddy is my cousin who also lives in Middlesex. She had a lapband two years ago and looks great! We'll be walking at Kenwood about 5:30.  Care to join us???

I'm thinking if she and I can commit to 3x a week... M-T-Th then we can think about joining Curves also and supplement those days.  I'm not against exercise, I'm just against doing it alone.

I missed the Swing Class that started on the 21st I'll have to wait until the next session for that.

Thanks for the purse reminder.
I think I left my sunglasses on the table at the restaurant too!  Of course, I just bought them on Friday!!! What a putz ! LOL.

Hmmm.........let me think on this.............not that I should need to even think.....I'm convinced the only reason I'm not losing weight is because I'm not exercising.  I eat well, drink plenty, etc.  I'll let you know!!!  If anything, maybe I can at least do Monday, because softball will be starting soon and that'll be Tuesday and Thursday.

Didja call the restaurant?  Maybe they have your sunglasses!!

Good Morning :  and I know what you mean :  I'm already looking forward to the weekend LOL

1.  As usual borrowing one of Tia's   Time with friends :  or maybe I should just say friends
period LOL  -  18 months ago I had no one who would call at the last minute and say hey want to have dinner, movies or whatever.  Now thats to WLS and support groups  and the gym
I have made friends who I enjoy spending time with and can really relate too.

2.  The beautiful full moon and sunrise I got to see this morning on my drive into work.

3.  Crystal Lite packets :  saved my life last week: while a lot of others did the 5 day
pouch test I had my own goal of a week without soda ( yes I know I should not drink
it , especially the hightest as Tia calls it)   I'm happy to say I did it -  now to the hard
part-  not starting again.

So have a great day everyone!!!!!

Hey Darla!!!

You know, I've always been fortunate to have a close group of friends upon whom I could depend; but having had wls has opened up a whole new dimension of friendship!!!

Okay, so you did without soda for 5 days - you know you can live without it, just keep it up!!

Have a great day!!!

Tia

The moon was GORGEOUS this morning!!!!

Great job on the Crystal Lite and the no bad carbonation!!!  You Rock Darla! You can do aything you set your mind to!

As I found out with the carbs, just cutting out the things we aren't supposed to have and doing what we are supposed to be doing has started the scale moving in the right direction!

Good luck to you!
