3 THINGS FOR IT'S MONDAY ALREADY!!!
I had a full weekend as well.. Between scheduled liasons and doing laundry I almost had every hour booked solid.
Today I am thankful for:
1.-I lived another year to see another Bday- Im 37 today...WOoooHooo
2.- Great Friends- I had the best time this weekend. On Friday, I got to see a few people from Elem/Middle School that I have not seen in over 25 years...We all went to Reckless Rics for a mini get together...Then on Sat-I had the best time at a fellow OHrs house playing in a Texas Hold Em Game...well...ONE of 2nd place...Somehow the chip values got screwed up and we ended up having double winners...ANYWAY..lol...
3.-Thin men with no body fat (I guess that one is an inside joke)..Cant explain...It just made me smile to type it!
Morning...I agree weekends are much too short, especially ones that are fairly warm! Monday's not a set holiday for me next week but since the government is off that day I'll get to work from home! WOOHOO!
Today I'm grateful...
1. Stealing from everyone else...time with my OH friends! Brunch was delish and so fun, but much too short!!! It was great to see Debbie, Ren, Tia, and Darla again....and it was great to meet Jilly, Candy, Dianne, and Kelly as well! Can't wait for the next get-together!
2. For warm(er) weather! I LOVED it but it did give me Spring Fever!!
3. Leftovers...I get to have the leftover shrimp, artichoke and feta omelet from Mimi's yesterday for lunch today...yummo!!
Next...
THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU!!!
I havent felt this good in YEARS!! I weighed myself this morning and I was thinking...21 more pounds until my year 2000 weight..lol...Then 60 more pounds to my 1990 year weight...I am majorly excited.
Being a lap bander, its very hard to look at all the RNY and Switchers and see their rapid weight loss each month...it has taken me 8 months to lose 55 pounds....but its a steady loss and am glad I did something about it when I did. I know by this time next year I will be close to my goal, and that is something I will be celebrating!
I'm a bander too, and I don't let it bother me that I'm slow (not in a retarded kind of way)- I just know that the end result will be that I will be thinner eventually. I enjoy life each day and am grateful for what it gives me. No sense in comparing with others. My scale is moving slowly but I don't let it bother me. I managed to get under 220 and am looking forward to getting under 210 next. :)
So I guess I’ll give you my 3 things
- Went to a party on Saturday in which I hadn’t seen people in like 3+ years. They were shocked, amazed and didn’t recognize me at first LOL
- had a dinner party on Sunday for a couple people that came to visit me from Baltimore that hadn’t seen me in a year or two and they were amazed and shocked and almost cried LOL
