Since Tia is busy so far today, I'll start the post...

Yesterday I ate:

B: 1 scrambled egg w/ cheese and a sausage patty

L:  3 1" cubes of chicken souvlaki with tziakiki sauce (none of which sat well with me)

D: Shrimp, beef & chicken with snow peas and bamboo shoots (which refused to stay down)

S: 1/2 c. Milk with 2 vanilla wafers (my stomach wanted no parts of that either and refused it)

I have no idea what is wrong.  I actually just had lunch (or tried to) and it's just not sitting well either.  Any ideas?

Are you having any pain? Does it feel like a "normal" bad food experience or different? Could you be coming down with a flu? Do you feel fine the rest of the time? Are fluids OK? If you are doing all of the proper eating volume, pace, and chews and this is still happening, it might be worthwhile to call and ask the MD.

Sorry you are going through this!

Thanks Debbie.

Breakfast was fine both days, no problems. I eat and while I'm eating my stomach just lets me know it's not happy. Yesterday during lunch I thought maybe the food was bad, but it shouldn't have been since it was fine on Sunday when I had it orginally.

I'm doing all the right things, nothing has changed, I'm getting my fluids in no issues and I feel fine... except when I try to eat after breakfast.  It's not horrible other than the food refusing to stay down (only happened at dinner), but once I start eating my stomach reacts very negatively.  I tried chicken salad with sliced tomatoes a short time ago and nope... 'ain't gonna happen.

Weird!

If this continues through tomorrow, I'll call my PCP.

So... what did you eat yesterday?

Breakfast - nothing

Lunch - Wendy's spicy chicken filet (not sammich - just the meat!)

Dinner - NY Strip and brocolli with cheese

Hope you're feeling better soon Ren!

Kelly (who had the RNY) once had an issue with roast beef (not the lunch meat) - she said it stayed with her for a day and a half and she finally felt better after she'd gotten sick, but she was nauseated the whole time and was able to drink and all.  Maybe the souvlaki isn't digesting well?  If all else fails, I wish someone would make Human Draino!

S - orange

L - Salad w/tuna and cheese

S - Steamed Veg medley

D - 0% Greek yougurt w/dehydrated berries

S - I won't go into details here, just suffice to say, diet choc milk, popcorn

Debbie,
It doesn't seem like you did poorly.  If you did... pick yourself up, brush yourself off and know that today is a new day and you get to start fresh! Woohoo!

Thanks Ren. I did not put it all down. Anyway, you are right, I am looking at today as a fresh start. So far, so good today. The real challenge hits me at night. But I am determined to defeat this demon!

Thanks SF Candy!  I can think of many acronyms for the SF for you

It could be the souvlaki, though I really hate thinking that it may be, since I love Greektown and Greek food!

Oooh! I'm coming over your place for the chicken/eggplant parmesan! It sounds delightful!

When you mix the mandarin oranges with the greek yogurt, do you rinse them first?
