3 THINGS FOR FRIDAY THE 13TH!!!!
Hey!!!
Thanks for the call this a.m.!!!! He was up his normal crack of dawn time this a.m., and said he feels better. Thank God.
I would LOVE to come to bingo, but I've got those investigations to do - and now I'm really under the gun since I didn't get any done last night. Plus, KB will be at our house at 6:30 tomorrow. Don't look for me, but it'd be nice to surprise you!!!
I'm GLAD the numbers are good - especially the A1C. Um......if you consider my using the "F" word every other word last night a pep talk, so be it!!! LOL!!! Whatever works.
DO NOT MAKE ME DO THAT AGAIN NEXT MONTH!! You told me you were calling a hematologist this a.m. - DO IT. I have enough short people in my life who can't take care of themselves, please don't add to my drama!!!!!!!
Love you, too!!
Tia
Fortunately I do not have dogs, so I don't worry about chewed shoes.
Fortunately my cats do not suffer with hairballs INSIDE of my shoes, like one of my childhood cats did!
I'm fortunate for everyone on OH including my sister!
I'm fortunate that I have a half day off today - I leave at 12:00 PM - and before you say that you're jealous - it's a furlough afternoon. No $$ for me.
We are heading to Richmond this weekend to try to pack some more stuff so I'm glad for the exercise and pain I'll be getting from all of that!
I'm fortunate that a pickup truck that I bought last year passed inspection this week - so I'm getting its tags today. (Heads up - if anyone needs hauling or moving - PM me.) I'm hoping to do enough of that this summer without having to work a 2nd job at night somewhere.
But most of all, I'm fortunate that in my fridge, I saw 3 things of leftovers of my food - the eggplant royale from Saturday, the oxtail dinner from last night, and the steak dinner I had Tuesday night. Why am I fortunate? Before WLS - I didn't have leftovers that stayed around long enough to have to be thrown out. Usually any leftovers there were, they were hubby's. Miss Candy hoovered her food before WLS. Now, I'm picking by hand and leaving a lot left on the plate! LOL.
Hey baby!!! Shew, I was a mess last night!! I'm glad he couldn't see me cry, it would've freaked him out. Poor little footed-pajama thing. Of course, this a.m., he's playing it to the hilt, showing everyone his (non-existent) bruises from the IV, babying his arm (shaking my head), and Mom said he's on the computer, looking at the Lego website, figuring out his haul for this trip to the hospital!! I can't wait till you meet them!! And scarily enough, B has my sense of humor!!! LOL!!!
I've never had a cat, and to my knowledge, Mickey, my brother's late cat, never coughed anything up, but when I was looking up pics of hairballs the other day for you, there were some NASTY pics. They look like they could live, eat and breathe on their own!!! EWWWWWWWWWWWWW!
Have a safe trip this weekend!!! You MIGHT be sorry about the moving/hauling - we're going to clean my brother's garage out soon, so I'll let you know!!!!
Aren't you just amazed that you don't feel the desire to Hoover food anymore? It's so liberating!!!
Have a wonderful weekend and be careful in Richmond!!!
LY,

I dumped all of my savings from last year into buying this truck at an employee auction, and with a lot of hand wringing wondering if I made a huge mistake in this "investment". Hubby says it's a great truck and has plans for towing his race car - GRRRR - the truck is in my name and my name ONLY! LOL! Okay, I'll share but if I need to move someone's new bed set - I'm unhooking your car!
As far as Richmond goes - I noticed in one of the pictures that we have alot of pods in the front yard. There are two huge Southern Magnolias in the front yard - so I was thinking I'll rake this weekend - providing that the weather is dry. If it's too bad, I can always paint another wall.
I also plan to fix the squirrel damage to some of the windows. A baby squirrel fell into the house through a chimney and tried to get out by chewing on some of the back windows frames. Mom stopped by one day and noticed that the house appeared to have something in it, and she found the squirrel all curled up sleeping on my couch. She said it was exhausted and hungry and she took it with her for about 5 miles and then let it go into the woods. I'm glad we didn't have to deal with a dead animal inside the house. We've already had enough in dead bodies in that house!

Oh, yeah, I've done the 7 day a week job - for 13 years, I worked for MSP and at various other part-times. Of course, part-time ALWAYS means Saturday and Sunday. No more. I'll sell my body first. Alright, fine, I'll give it away!!!!
Actually, I need to find some strong men first, but my Mom has an old cedar hope chest (REALLY heavy) that we need to move from my Granny's house in Highlandtown to our house in Middle River. Seriously. I'll let you know.
You have PODS in your yard? Like this???
Will Hume Cronin be stepping out of them????? You KNOW I couldn't resist!!!
Awwww, baby squirrels!! Mom LOVES squirrels - she names the ones who visit our house!! Rocky, Roxie, Rockette.....hey, she's crazy, but she's MY crazy!!! There's a site, www.squirrelstuff.com, where I buy her t-shirts every year!!! LOL!!!
Dead bodies in the house? Do tell!!!
