Yes I know its been a while since i posted this thread but I saw one that is so "Me"
I thought I would post it

IT'S IMPORTANT TO ACCEPT ALL ASPECTS OF YOURSELF IN ORDER TO BE
EASIER ON YOURSELF AND MORE COMPASSIONATE

TELL YOURSELF  " I MAY NOT BE PERFECT , BUT I'M OKAY JUST THE WAY I AM"

WHEN YOU LEARN TO KEEP YOUR PERSPECTIVE AND TO STAY LOVING TOWARD YOURSELF, EVEN WHEN YOU PROVE YOU ARE HUMAN, YOU'LL BE ON YOUR WAY TO
A HAPPIER LIFE.

Ok Ok I posted three LOL  Hope these help

Very nice Darla! I saw one that I really enjoyed recently and was a great reminder to me.

"When you judge people, you leave no room in your heart to love them, or they to love you."

"The difference between try and triumph is just a little umph!"

Man does that ever hit home! I am a text book perfectionist. And if I can't be perfect, I tend to quit, which is why I have never managed to be successful long term with any weight control program. Because we ALL know we can't be perfect all the time. I am committing to myself to try to be easier on myself. There is just not enough time in the day to do everything and be everything to everyone and still be perfect! I'm going to start with some really comprehensive to-do lists--the kind of list that covers every aspect of my life that leaves me with something hanging over my head and hopefully once it is out of my brain and on paper, I'll have a sense of relief and the knowledge that I can only do what I can do and I'll get to them--eventually!

Thanks for reminding me that I am okay just the way I am (but I won't hate it when I'm a hundred pounds lighter!!)

Take care!

Denise

Darla, Thanks this is a great post.  I think we all need to remember this one. I know I will and try to live by it more in my daily life...

Loser's visualize the penalties of failure. Winners visualize the rewards of success.

Mom I hope you rest in Peace knowing that you were loved and will be missed. Keep love alive in your       heart as I know I will. You are now an           and I know you will be looking down on us from above......... I am OK.......
