3 THINGS FOR TGIF!!!

Julie - I'm great at hooking up computers - can't see why it's difficult but I guess because I've been through my share of computers,  I could almost do it blindfolded.  If you can't wait any longer, let me know I'll come down meet ya and hook ya up!

My things I'm grateful for.....

1.  A pack of cigarrettes cost me $6.98 yesterday.  When I last bought them they were $4.50 a pack....they will be my last pack!

2.  Hubby is seeming like he's handling the situation okay.  He's heading to Richmond to round up stuff for the Swap Meet that is next Saturday - and he said some of the proceeds from that can be used towards our fun trips.  We hadn't taken one in a long time, that I think he really wants to make up for it.

3.  We are still going to NY and to HP, even though times are gonna be tough.

4.  My ex -SIL who is taking care of my kids is "supposedly" contacting the CSEA office about trying to cut the support amount in half in light of Jerry being laid off.......I'll believe it when I see it.  But I have emails that says she says "This email is documentation - you have my word".  If it does really happen, that means I'll have an extra $500 a month to take home and contribute to the household rent, and what not.

5.  Realtor dropped the price on the house by 5K per my instructions, and is sending an email out to all agents who showed the house previously to let them know the price dropped.  She said there's been some interest already with the number of showings, there were 2 this week already.

6.  Jerry has some money to pay the mortgage this month and he says he should be able to pay it next month.  Come May, if it doesn't sell by then, we'll be asking the bank to take over the house.  It had to be on the market for 90 days before we could ask them to consider that.

7.  It's a beautiful day.

8.  Most importantly, I know I'm usually the class clown and some of you have probably been accustomed to seeing that; and I appreciate being able to take a break from it for now.  I appreciate everyone's thoughts, prayers and cheers.  If I didn't have you all, I probably would have been more freaked out.  So thank you gals for being here!

SFC, I  appreciate your help. We now have AOL and I want to switch to Fios. I am scared to hook it up since I cant transfer AOL over. I dont want to be without internet. Scott said he would hook me up within the next couple of weeks. His dad got ill in Del. so he had to go up there. I pray you dump the smokes and I know its so hard.
I pray things work out for you and hubby. Sometimes life just aint fair...What a shame about you ex sil its to crazy... Hope the house sells and I love your humor it makes me smile... Have a great day and I will keep you all in my thoughts and prayers...Thank you for being here too..

Sorbitol -

Yes, I miss your funnies, but you have other, more important things going on right now.  That's why we're your friends - we understand, and we're here for you.  If I had the $, you'd have the $.  It sucks that I can't help my friends *****ally need it more than I do.

Did you TELL me you were going to NYC?  I thought the last thing you said was, "I'm not sure."  That's great, though, I'm so glad.  Just let me know for sure!!

Oh, yeah, girl, hold onto that email!!!!!!!!  I'll believe it, too, when I see the reduction in child support.

Hang in there and call me if you need me!!

Tia

For sure - Jerry and I are going to NYC and we'll have Amy and her daughter Megan with us as well.

You happy now?  LOL

On my ex-SIL thing - I had emails from previous where she'd said she'd accept a certain amount because she's getting SS for them because their father (exhubby) passed away.  She gets like 3K for them every month.  And I took those old emails to court last year - and because she wasn't there to answer about the emails, it wasn't admissable in court.  I could understand because I could have created those emails myself.

Um, yeah, I'm happy now, but....and I know you've had lots going on this week - didn't you see my post about dinner in NYC?

I asked who wanted to go to Carmine's in NYC - you have to make reservations.  I made reservations for 10 for 3:30 - if the 4 of you want to go, you need to let me know.  Hopefully, I can up the number!!

As much as we talk, how'd this slip through the cracks?

i know i've missed folks... sorry... the ADHD makes me nuts sometimes... and forced Ranesa to keep me on track.  Remember my degree is in Psych... I grew up in a home and family of mental health workers,  of course we put the FUN in dysFUNctional....

family bingeing was  common.

oy.

today for me:

oh yesterday  Harley weighed in at 96 pounds.  hes' gained 18 pounds since we got him in October!
a small newf to be sure but a good size for him

OTOH hannah is fat.  she's 69 pounds and needs to be about 60!  she keeps gaining weight.   I've spent two months worth of savings on these dogs.

lunch with my BFF today and then we have breakfast tomorrow and CLINIQUE BONUS time at Boscov and i'm hitting Walmart in Westminister for their own house brand of crystal light.  the apple tastes just like apple juice and the peach is YUMMY!

this weekend is busy... we have girl child's school play tonite.  Owings Mills High School is doing GREASE!

we have gaming tomorrow night.

maybe one weekend when my new table comes we can have gaming at our house with all of you... it's fun!

scale was up this morning.  I guess Panera is catching up with me.

my grateful things:

1. it's friday
2. the dogs are now healthy!
3. it's payday
4. all of you!

Hey Nessa!!!!

I'm a Walmart apple drink FREAK!!  Unfortunately, the only Wally I kind find it at is Super, so whenever Kathy goes, she grabs boxes for me!!!  If you heat it, it tastes just like apple cider!!

I used to LOVE Clinique - now I'm a Bare Minerals girl.

You and Ren with the games!!!  That sounds like fun!

The scale will go down again, just keep an eye on it!!

And get that weight OFF of Hannah - we always had overweight dogs and you KNOW you're not doing her any favors.

LY,

T
