3 THINGS FOR TUESDAY!!!

Hmmmm.............well, I have some friends who used to live in Whiteford (they moved to Texas in 1995), and I have some others whom I THINK are still up that way.

BTW, did you know that Michael Phelps used to live in Whiteford?  Just a bit of useless trivia!!!!  LOL!!!

I've only lived in Whiteford for 4 years.  I grew up mostly in the Gardenville and Hamilton areas in the 70's-80's.  Moved from there in 1987 to Bel Air.  Lived there til 1996 when I moved to Jarrettsville.  From there, we built the current house in Whiteford and moved in 2005.  I went to Gardenville Elementary, Hamilton Junior and Western High; ECC and HCC.  Worked in Towson, first as a legal secretary then as a paralegal from 1979 to 1988, then downtown at the Trade Center as a paralegal and assistant law firm administrator til 1998 and back up to Towson as firm administrator til 2004 when I joined my husband full-time in our architectural firm.  Also, Dr. Moein did my surgery when DVR was still at GBMC.  Maybe our paths crossed somewhere above?

Morning all!  I swear it's this weather that has a big part in making one feel down!  I'm waiting IMpatiently for warmth and sunshine in copious amounts...it's supposed to be a nice weekend!

Today, I'm grateful...

1.  For my sisters.  If it weren't for them I don't think I could drag myself down to see my parents much, if at all.  It's just so hard to be around my mother with her constant negativity!  I know I've got it in me but I try soooo hard not to be negative all the time!

2.  For making time to read.  I've been doing more reading which is something that I LOVE to do.  That reminds me....time to order more from paperbackswap.com.

3.  For all of my friends IRL and on OH!!

Me, too, on the sunshine!!!  Although I don't know how much I'll be seeing this weekend as I was just handed FIFTEEN tapes.  O M G!!

I'm glad you have your sisters.  I've told you before, your Mom's missing out on the opportunity to be with a wonderful woman!!!  MUAH!!!

I love to read, too, but just don't have the storage space for ANY books, even paperbacks.  I usually do the library route, but I've just recently heard of paperbackswap - sounds cool!!

Good Morning Tia Glad you are back!!! Hope you had a good time being off and hope you had a great holiday....I know its so hard to go back to work after being off... I hate the yucky weather but can only think the good is right around the corner..I love flowers and look forward to seeing your pictures....Try not to get overwhelmed by all the work it will drive you crazy... I had a nice time talking to Mo what a sweetie.. Her hubby is nice as well..

I am thankful today for...

1) Getting my bathrooms redone....

2) Finding out that the IRS owes me $$$ from 2005 and the amended return has been mailed...

3) Chocolate...Ate to much over the weekend but man it was so good....

4) Wine tasting... I have never did this before but my sons girlfriend and I did and we found the best blackberry wine thats made right in PA.. We also found 3 other kinds we liked as well so I spent alot of $$$ buying them up....

5) Happy for all of you and everyone being back ...

Morning all....I havent done this for a while so Ill jump in today. First let me say welcome back to Tia.

Darla...Im sorry you're having a rough time. My dog had diabetes too and its not fun. Hang in there with mom, it will all work out.

Nessa...shew girl you are one busy woman. Don't you love being the main scheduler/secretary? I am too. Its hard enough keeping my appts straight but now I gotta keep his straight too..

Ok so for today I am grateful for:

1. Easter holiday and getting to see my family.

2. That the ER was completely empty on Easter since we had to be there with my daughter after she got attacked by a rottweiler. She's fine but it scared us all out of our minds.

3.  For the rain. Its cold and yucky but Im sure all the farmers are loving it right now.
