Oh my I hope your daughter is ok.. What a terrible thing to happen to her... I am sure you were terrified. I will keep her in my thoughts and prayers..... I am happy you got to see your family over the holiday... I hate the rain to o and am sure someone really needs this rain and are very happy....

I am so sorry to hear about your daughter.....is she ok? Was this a known rottie?
I hate hearing stories about rottie attacks! I own a 12 year old rottie, Nikita, who is like another one of my kids! She is the most laid back & mild mattered dog I have ever owned! But I know that the breed has a bad name & leaves a bad taste in many peoples mouths!

Today I am grateful for:
1} that my daughter is finally starting to feel better, although she still doesnt sound much better!
2} I too am grateful for all the green! I LOVE the snow, but I love seeing all teh pretty flowers & trees in bloom.
3} That the week is almost over for me....I am supposed to be heading to OC for a long weekend with my bestie, and another close friend.......a girls weekend! I am super excited!
4} that I have a great family who tolerates my mood swings!

Mood swings? Sweetie, you ain't seen NOTHING yet. LOL!!!! When you start losing weight rapidly, all of the hormones in the bloodstream will flood your system and you might feel like your head's gonna spin around!!! THAT will be a whole lot of fun for your family!!! LOL!! Rest assured there IS help if that happens to you, and it's NOT permanent!!!

Thanks guys. Yes she is doing much better. She was swollen and sore for a few days but she really didnt get a bad bite in comparison to a lot.
Heather, it was a neighbor's dog to my parents. She was taking the little ones egg hunting and when the 2 year old left her and went up on the deck she turned around to go with him and the rottie jumped on her and grabbed her arm. hes mean. he chased her once before and she outran him but this time he snuck up on her and jumped her. we are just so glad he didnt get the baby that was with her. he's quarantined right now because of course he's not up to date with his vaccines either.
