Morning Darla.  The pictures of you all looked lovely and I wish I could have joined in. You will love your ablation once you get it. Trust me. You will wonder why it took you so long. PM me if you have any questions about it.  I hate Comcast. Nuff said.  Ok here's mine for today.

1. Benadryl, Allegra, Tylenol. I can't even begin to explain how horrible my allergies were this weekend.

2.  Flexible scheduling. Im so happy to have a job that allows me to work when I want. It's taking me a while this morning to get my act together.

3.  School field trips. They do sure do inspire sleepy little boys to spring out of bed in the morning and get ready for school faster than a speeding bullet. I love my little sugar pie.

Mellie:  I have been trying to get the ablation for almost ayear now :  I switched GYN's
when the one I had insisted I needed an OPEN total Hysterectomy:  I got a second
opinion.  I was only 1 week away from the ablation in December when I developed
a bloodclot that delayed the procedure.  My hematologist has given the OK for me
to go off the cumadin to get the ablation so I have been on the phone with my GYN.
I first need another sonogram, an endomitrial biopsy and a consult so while
I am on my way it will probably be at least another month - I can not wait:

Good  Morning!

Darla - I am happy to hear that your MD got back to you. Now that you have the momentum to get things taken care of.

I am grateful for...

1 - I agree - great times spent with friends this weekend. OH Yeah!

2 - An overall great weekend. While I did not get everything done that I wanted to, I did accomplish all of the important stuff and then some. It was jam packed.

3 - For my family and friends.

Have a good day!

Morning all,

Darla - sorry to hear you had come problems yesterday afternoon but hopefully that will all come to an end soon!!!  Keeping my fingers crossed for you, for that and for getting your computer back online...that would drive me crazy!

Today, I'm grateful...

1.  For making it in to work before 10:00.  There was an accident in Annapolis and traffic was backed up to the Bay Bridge...YUCK!

2.  For being able to spend time with some of my OH girls (and Jerry) yesterday.  I so enjoy those outtings and it was mucho fun.  Afterwards Tia introduced me to Wegmans and OH MY do we need one of those closer to me!

3.  For a great weekend.  My husband was out of town, so I went out by myself on Saturday night to see my bar friends and had great WOW moments when people I hadn't seen in about 4 months were doing double-takes when they saw me.  One guy actually stared at me for a good 30 seconds before figuring out it was me.  LOL!

Okay, have a great summery day all!
Heather

Hello OH'ers!

I am sorry I missed out on the brunch yesterday but I had out of town company and was unable to attend.

Today, I'm grateful for:

1. An absolutely beautiful weekend!! It couldn't have gotten any better.

2.  My children. I had breakfast with my daughter Sunday, saw my oldest and took him to his new home on Saturday night on my way out for the evening.  He moved to what seems like a decent neighborhood in the city. My youngest worked his first job this weekend and seems to like it. I purchased my step-son for his upcoming birthday a GPS that he desperately needs. He's a little stud muffin and seems to enjoy going to college... not for academics!  (He's not even enrolled).  He travels to College Park, Salisbury, Loyola and another college I can't remember the name of it and at times calls us for directions.

3.  A man who is not afraid to step up to the plate and learn new skills.  I finally have a new faucet in my bathroom.  The other was corroded and NASTY! Pete took care of it for me yesterday and did a really good job.  He was a bit intimidated (maybe that's why it took 3 months for him to install it?) since he has no plumbing experience, but everything seemed to go fairly well.

4. A full weekend spent with family, friends and the love of my life.

I hope everyone had an equally good weekend and something positive to focus on this week.

Warm regards,
Ren
