Thank you so much Heather!  I'm 7 pounds away from the Century Club and not too many away from ONEderland!

Heather, Love the new avatar. Curious do you like the VSG and would you do it again? Have you had any problems since you had VSG? I would love to know. Thanks,

Thanks Julie!  Honey, I absolutely LOVE LOVE LOVE my sleeve and I would do it again!  In fact, I wish I had known about this surgery when I went for my LapBand because it's like I've regained normalcy again!  There are a lot of band to sleeve people on the VSG forum and we all agree and feel the same way about it.  Most of us loved our bands, but lost them due to some complication or another (mine was too much scar tissue - not necessarily caused by the band, but more my body).  I've had ZERO problems since I was sleeved.  I have had no food issues.  I don't get food stuck, I don't slime, etc. I just get filled up very quickly, but that's the whole point! LOL

Heather I am glad I have waited and thought this out. I was really set on the band but now I am looking into the sleeve. I have heard that so many are happy with their sleeve. Take care and keep up the great work.

Don't get me wrong, I'd NEVER poo poo my band; it helped me get down 80 pounds in about 16 months.  It was great while it lasted.  My body just didn't like it being in there I guess.  The only issue you may run into with the sleeve is having it approved. Many insurance companies are not covering it because they consider it investigative.

Heather, you look great!  I am only 7 lbs from the century club as well.  Of course, that was when I got done a 25 miles ride yesterday morning - I'm sure its more like 9 lbs away.  I'm about 10 lbs away from my goal and 20 lbs away from Dr. Singh's goal - I'll never get there though (without someone copping my hips off) nor do I really think I need to.
But all is well here.  Agree about the sleeve - I'd go from band to sleeve in a flash!
