hey beautiful! Those of us who are parents have all been where you are now....and if anyone says they haven't, well they are lying! Dont beat yourself up, or get down about it! Beinga first time mommy is VERY overwhelming and can get to the best of us! Keep your chin up & know that you will get thru it, and there will be anext time & you will get thru that as well! Oliver will have a great mommy & he will know thru your fam & friends that you did everything a mom could do!

Now for me.... today I am grateful that I FINALLY got some sleep! Between being a mom, a wife, and going to school M-F 8:30am to 3;30pm, I have been neglecting my body. I was soooo exhausted I went to bed last night at 5 pm! I needed it tho!
I am also thankful for all my wonderful friends that I have & for the most amazing family a owman could ask for!

I know, I know, I am not very regular but somebody else cna feel free to start a WTF Wednesday and Thankful Thursday threads when I don't 
Today, I am thankful for friends. Friends who call me on seeing a random text about feeling like crying from me and talk to me as I sob. Friends who stop by on their way home because I need somebody to hold Oliver for 15 minutes so I can put my head in my hands and just cry.
Nothing bad is happening, I was just overwhelmed the last 2 days and I couldn't have asked for better people in my life than those 2 friends.
I am also thankful for my healthy baby whose bright smile in the morning makes me ALMOST forget his crankiness for hours the night before.

Hi I'm new to the site and just learning about WLS, I went to a seminar this past Saturday and I'm definitely interested in WLS I would like to get the sleeve but I know is harder to get approve for that so I'm leaning towards the band.
Can someone recommend a surgeon in MD, I'm close to DC but I would preffer for my doc to be in MD.

I understand! I had the same anxiety when I first started venturing in to B-more for my preop visits at the docs office and the hospital. Now I am totally fine. I park in the same parking garage each visit. It helps because its right between the hospital and the doctor office.
