Don't know if you scheduled with Dr. Salameh yet, he was my surgeon and I thought he was Great!
Dr. Salameh did my RNY surgery in November of 2010, everything went well, i was in the hospital for 3 days.  A couple of weeks later I did get a blockage/partial blockage, this was so painful.  Dr. Salameh did surgery to fix it and i've been great since.

Anytime I have any problems/questions I just shoot Michelle and email, they are very responsive and I would reccomend them to everybody.

One year ago today I was 120 pounds heavier, but so hopeful as I walked into UMMC and had a life changing surgery. Today I am 180 pounds, off of almost all medications, I have a normal blood pressure, I'm exercising, I'm wearing a size 14 pants and size L tops, I have a brand new gorgeous wedding dress and right now I'm sitting in my new office in Baltimore where I've been one week in my new job with an awesome firm. In other words, my confidence and sense of self worth have soared as the weight has come off. Most importantly, I'm healthy! This is an amazing gift and I am truly grateful for a second chance at life.  I love my RNY and this has been an amazing year.

Thank you all for your support. It's amazing to me that a year has flown by. To all you newbies out there: Hang  on, it's a bumpy ride but so worth it. I couldn't be happier

Topic: Reminder- Special Bariatric Nutrition Seminar tomorrow 5/4 at St. Agnes
Hi Folks,   This is just a reminder that Dr. Jacqueline Jacques NP will be our special guest for the bariatric patients as well as St Agnes Staff on May 4th from 630-8pm.  Dr Jacques is the chief scientific officer at Catalina Sciences- the maker of Bariatric Advantage vitamins and is widely published.  She is probably the foremost authority on bariatric nutrition and is also an expert on women's health.  There is no charge for this event and is open to patients of any surgeon.   This is really exciting!  Dr Jacques is just amazing and I am so excited she is coming to St Agnes!   Cathy Carr-Dadin RN, CBN Bariatric Services Coordinator 410-368-2384
