I'm so glad to have done this race! Gotta improve my transition time and the swim wasn't very graceful but those things can be practiced & improved.... Course was flat as a pancake!!!

Just signed up for my first tri event: Manassas mini tri, on June 7th. Oh my..... It's an easy distance (250 swim, 4mi bike, 1.5mi run), so I'm not worried about the "can" I do it, but how I'll do on transitions. Up to 12 mi on the bike, swam up to 200
Marathon training season begins this week! Can't wait to join back up with my running friends on the regular.... Also picking up my bike from the shop this week, so hopefully my workouts will include some rides (and not falls.)

Did the Shamrock Half on Sunday and it was SOO FUN!!! Highly recommend for anyone looking for a beer-and-party-focused race.... But with the lag between winter training and before marathon training starts back up, my workouts will be pretty unstructure
