Who is out there?
Hi David,
I'm not sure how long ago you had surgery, but I assume you are on liquids or pureed stuff? Maybe go back to gelatins and soups, as you can eat those as fast as you want and they are not as likely to cause dumping. In a few more weeks, when you are able to eat solid food, if you eat fast, you will get full and the problem should solve itself.
I guess the only solution for "cabin fever" is to go out and walk. You should be able to do the other stuff in a few weeks, anyway.
Anyone else?
Good Luck,
Dave

Dan Hi David - For me a lot of the fast eating problem took care of itself once I got to solid foods and forgot to chew enough that something got stuck - after that unpleasant experience a couple times I became pretty cautious about slowing down and chewing everything thoroughly. I think it will come in time. Sounds like you already got some good ideas for staying busy but I would second the one about walking as much as you can - seemed to be one of the best things for me early on. Steve
