First Race of the Year - Jackson Day 9K in New Orleans

I finished in 53 minutes which is right around 8.5 minute miles.   I slowed down towards the end a bit because the sun came out and it got really hot.   They gave out medals to the top 500 finishers so that was pretty cool.

Scott I wish I was doing Disney with you man.   Couldn't get in.   

I've got the Mardi Gras Marathon coming up next month along with a few
triathlons in the next couple months though.  Should be fun.

Go KYP!!!!!!  What an inspiration you are.  You have come so far and are now running marathons.  Just simply terrific!!!!!!!!!!

Way to go man.  Good time to boot.  There is always next year for Disney.  To do the half, sign up by mid May and the Full, get in by August.  God forbid you want to do the Goofy, try Jan 15 or 16.
