Say what?
They are having a Valentine all-day-graze here at at work today. Cakes, pies, candy, pigs-in-a-blanket and a whole lot of other super healthy foods. The boss called everyone together to thank everyone for bring in the vittles and goodies and to officially kick off the pig-fest. I went the other direction to the coffee room to get a cup of decaf and head back to my office. One of the ladies was in the coffee room and wanted to know why I wasn't eating any of the treats. I just said I didn't need it. Her reply was "I heard you are having that stomach bypass surgery. Is that true?" I said "Yep". Then I get this: "Well, I just don't see why anyone would choose to do that . Let some doctor go in and chop up their insides just to lose some weight. Seems to me it would be better to just go on a diet and use some self control. That's just too dangerous an elective surgery to have." Nope. Didn't do it. I just smiled, shook my head and walked out.
