Motorcycle trip

I ride a 2006 Yamaha Midnight Venture tourer, V4 1300 cc.. She's a heavy gal - over 900 lbs. wet weight, but handles like a dream and is super comfy! The wife and I actually picked it over the Gold Wing and the Electra Glide Classic.  We didn't have anything against the Honda or H.D. - just really liked the Venture better. And the fact that it was a few $K less was an extra bonus, plus it has a full 5 year warranty.

Thats cool. I have nothing against the Jap bikes, they make a great product for sure. I've been a Harley guy all my adult life although  in my early 20's I had a Kawasaki drag bike for racing. I;ve done some mods to my bike and it puts out good #'s on the dyno. When I lost a big chunk of my weight I did notice the handling on my bike changed a bit, but I got used to it fast. You may experience the same.
