So...you're still on the fence about WLS........

I don't have any before and after pics to compare and contrast cause I ain't through losing yet. But I took some 6 month pics yesterday and compared them to the few 'before' pics I had and it helps me confirm what I already knew. WLS is helping me save my life. I tried to use similar poses to help with the comparisons. If you're lurking here and not sure whether to go for it or not, I can't really tell you what to do. But I can tell you that WLS is working for me and I don't regret a minute of the journey so far.  The first shot in each pair was taken yesterday. I weighed 303. The second shot in each pair was taken in March of 2007, about 8 months pre-op. But I weighed somewhere in that neighborhood(455) prior to the liquid diet and surgery. And people have the nerve to ask me how I feel?

You look so much better in the "after" pictures.  And what I mean is you look like you are happier and feel better in them.  The weight is the big thing but how you feel as you lose the weight is just as important and based on the pix and your posts, you're doing great! JP

Man what a difference!  I don't usually drag my wife into the Locker Room, but I had to show her those pics..  It took me three tries to convince her that they were actually the same man. Keep up the great work!  You are starting to become one of those inspirations that men need to see if they're going to go forward with this journey.   John

Not to worry. There's still plenty of unsightly flesh underneath those clothes. Even when I was 19 y/o and weighed 210, I didn't have a 'speedo shot' body. Clothes are my friend I'll assure you.

Way to go fish. Keep up the good work.

Work is for those who don't know how to fish.
