Postponed......ughhhhhhhh

Sorry I havent posted in a bit.....I fell into a funk........well my RNY has been postponed until the 24th.......it was scheduled for tommorrow the 10th...Its been such a battle the last few years with insurance and BS and just the everyday struggles of life we all go threw. The reason it was postponed was for the simple fact that I had missed two of the group meeting that are required before surgery.....I guess between the time lap from different insurances ive had since 2003 and now.......things got mixed up in the shuffle. and when I was approved this time, we (the office and I) kind of rushed threw the steps, and we all looked over the fact that two of the required meetings were not gone to..... The story of my life LOL, a day late and a dollar short.....I dont mind the two week wait....ive waited roughly 5years already.....Sorry for such a late update......Ive just been at my wits end and stressed to the MAX..........Just want to also say thanks for those of you who messaged me with, well wishes, and confidence boosters.....Its appreciated.........I really enjoy it here and you guys are the best Im not sure on the forum etiquette.....but im going to repost this in a few of the forums I frequent

Hang in there and don't beat yourself up over it. All you can do now is wait your 2 weeks and try and be as healthy as possible going into your surgery so you can have the best chances during and afterwards. Have a drink and calm your nerves haha. That may be bad advice but hey, it works. 

Well, at least you weren't like me. I was on the table, IV's in place, about to go to happy land when they postponed my surgery because they didn't have a specific cardio test they wanted prior to putting me under.  THAT was a bummer and a half. But, all in all, it worked out for the best. I got the test, went through another 2 weeks of pre-op liquid diet, and the surgery went smooth as silk!! It's a bummer, but hang in there!

Dam, Sorry for your ongoing delays. Having that date in your hand And having it snatched away Is a sure kick in the crotch. Hang in there. After all of the hoops you’ve jumped through? The 24^th will be here in no time. Spend your extra “waiting-energy/anxiety” To keep prepping for your new, thinner, life. Best Wishes- Dx
