Quix ain't the place

While I'm at it, you weren't the only one. What the hell is with you guys? Tuna? Seriously? Use your heads Damn Boner Tuna? Seriously? Couldn't you have siad: Carp, Bass, Crab's (Oh don't want them),  Trout??? BwaHahaha Damn Syn it's guys not PC guys, just towel snapping, farting, belching guys.... Damn I just got myself home sick BwaHahaha!!!

It's cool here and I respect that. Just like how I would never come in and tell you guys to clean your act up, you can't expect to go in there and be a bunch of jerks.
I hate that term PC. Why don't we stick with "manners". People seem to use PC when they've been called out for acting like a dick.

What's wrong with the term "tuna"  I mean, it's not like he called them ****s. He probably just received a rude reception, as they were afraid that I'd come along for the ride 

Ive looked over at Quix for the last year or so.  I've always felt there was a lot of critical & bitter people who got fed up with OH over there.  Sort of like a free for all, the way the internet started...Where someone found they could be as crude as possible...Just because they could do it.  After awhile it gets old fast.  Be careful was you ask for...because you might get it.  Brian   PS my rant the other day was half a joke.  A soap box to add my 2 cents to.  But no, it was not good what was said to DX and Paul in Dallas. 

Terry, Well, you showed up, expected the place to instantaneously open a new forum to accommodate a need that did not exist an hour earlier, And then were insulting to folks who had been there for years And expected them to treat you with support? WTF?!?! Then you drama-queened your ass out of there? For me the place has been “My Family Re-union.” So, I’m a little upset. Tek was in the process of putting up a Men’s Forum. He is continuing to do so.  But, Unlike OH where all decisions are made and passed out like RULES From Mommy, as in OH’s- “Responding to staff in a negative manner as done above, will NOT be tolerated.” At Quix, Tek opened a thread to get the opinions and discussion of the group. Some will agree some won’t, discussions will bring perspective and focus to the idea, and then….A new Forum, or Forums, will be created to meet and accommodate the new and growing need. Another difference? When folks leave in a huff of Drama, They clear out their own profiles. No Mommy to whip your ass at Quix! Sorry my family didn’t drop everything and rush to attend your every need. When you’ve been at a place for less than an hour, And you refer to the Hostess as "Tuna," Expect a less than hospitable reception. Paul in Dallas is still there posting along with Chad and Doug and others who didn't **** in the pool from the diving board! In the Meantime till a Men's Forum Is created on Quix, Paul has set up a “Men’s Only YaHoo Group.” That should suffice for those who find neither OH or Quix, or RenewedReflections, or FatBlog, etc…to have value. [for those of you reading in thinking- “What the Hell?” Check some posting histories here.  I have gathered the information That I generally share here, from the folks there.  If you find no value in that, then you don’t.  I’m not selling the place, just claiming it as one that I really like.]

Glad you're still here. Admin may have over reacted this time but they generally just leave us alone. From what I've seen most of the rules generally don't apply (with a couple of exceptions, as I'm sure the Quix people will testify).

Hope the other fellows will return as well.

Dx, Please re-read my Quix posts and you will NOT see me call the Quix Queen Bee a Tuna. The only reference I made to Tuna was when I mentioned TunaWar2008.  As a matter of fact, I would encourage all lockerroom members to view yesterday's Quix posts in order to make up their own mind whether Quix women (who dominate the board ) would ever allow a "man-only" forum. It's obvious to me they want NO separation in their membership.   A quick summary of yesterday's Quix events from my perspective of course: 1. Paul (who I respect greatly) was dissed by Taco Boy here at OH and decided to leave 2. I say enough is enough and search for an alternative place to post as well 3. Scott W. recommend Quix as an alternative 4. In the Quix welcome post, Paul says we need a mens only site and proceeds to get hammered by the women 5. I create a "we need a mens only forum"" thread and all hell breaks lose.  6. I exit Quix and come back here and post my Quix is not the place thread.  Here is what I learned from my Quix scouting expedition: 1. The men only locker room here on OH is better for me than a Quix mixed board. 2. The women of Quix have spoken and they will not allow a separate mens forum 3. The Queen Bee of Quix and Tek are nut jobs 4. I will never go to the Quix site again and all parties will be happy with that I'm sure 5. I will continue to post here in the locker room until a better place is found or unitl the OH Knuckleheads provide the visability necessary to let wayward WLS men know about the LockerRoom. End of story from my perspective anyway. . Boner
