Jeremy - You blew it!

Man, the OH Men's Forum was the best place I had found to discuss WLS and other issues with other men.  Great experience, information, and comaraderie.  I looked forward to getting online here everyday, several times a day.  Then the "dress-down" lecture from you, a sombrero wearing knight in shining armor trying to come to the fair lady's rescue, has screwed it all up.  The post by the young lady was not that big a deal. It was just that it looked like some chic posting rather than an advertisement/request from OH, so some of the guys spoke up and gave their opinions. What was wrong with that?  We're all supposedly adults here. Are we not supposed to have our opinions or disagree or express our feelings?  Because of your heavy-handed dress down, now there is a mass exodus from the Men's Forum, which is a damn shame. This was a fantastic place for info and support from other guys. I've made some good friends here who have helped me tremendously.  Grow some nads man - fess up - you blew it. 

WTF is going on here ????  Why is everbody all up in arm's I dont think we should let this little sh-t Jeremy throw what we have here down the toilet !!!  I look forward to stoping in here ever night . And now ????  Nick

I feel the need to stay here to get the support I need and to provide support to other men including newbies who may just be finding this Men's Forum.  Junk comes and goes.  Many are mad now but this too will pass.  If you want to join another group, that's ok.  I have already but I'm still posting here.

If that stupid post would have been posted to all of the forums like most advertisements I probably would not be as irritated but it was specifically targeted to a few and I think it might have been deliberate to get people stirred up to leave. Of course I am paranoid but just because you think you're paranoid does not mean there aren't perople out to get you. This was not posted to the Ohio Board but it was to the DS Board etc. I know the DS Board has people with a lot of strong opinions on it. So I think the intent was to stir people certain up and get them to quit

I'll still post here too, but it seems many of the regular, and WLS experienced,  posters are leaving in droves.  Perhaps if Jeremy would step in and say he over-reacted or something to that effect, it could be reversed.  Like Nick, I would hate to lose this forum as a suport group.

I really enjoy this forum, I hate that some of the old pro's are leaving.  I agree that Jeremy should have let Niki fight her own battles if she thought there was even a battle to be fought.  I pm Niki when this first occurred and the thread was locked. She conveyed to me that she understood how it appeared but she was taking a short cut (my words) to post on the main boards and she knows how important "Our Man Cave" (her words) are to us and she respected it.  In a age of PC and Womens Equality I would think she would be more offended by Jeremy's condescending "I'll protect the little helpless lady attitude".  She is the Chief Editor she should post that she took care of Jeremy and apologize for any misunderstanding and/or hurt this might have caused.  Now on the other side of the coin I almost think this has more DRAMA then TUNA TOWN!  I think this whole damn thing has been  blown out of proportion, its been a #@%! distraction that should have been laughed at.  Come on some little frat boy in his sombrero thinks he's one of the magnificent 7??  He's not a pimple on a gnats ass!  As much as I respect and I really do the guys who are leaving I think they have so much sound advice to offer newbies that its sad they would leave because of what some twit has to say. I hope the grass is greener but come on were guys we should like a little fight now and then.  Its like a bar I ain't leaving till they throw me out! C'ya Bob

I agree.  That Jeremy dude is a tool and ****** everything up.  Our forum will never be the same, and that Quix site is not the answer.  Its may not be Tuna Town, but it is Salmon City. Sonny
