Long Road Traveled - Before and After - Wow
I am going to try and show a comparison photo of where I started my journey and how much I have changed over the course of 4.5 months. I am truly amazed at what RNY has done for me - losing 137 pounds has drastically altered my outlook on life and all it has to offer. I live for the day and what it brings, not for the food I can eat each day. For those of you sitting on the fence, maybe my pictures will help you make some decisions. I know others photos always helped me. Just keep in mind the first picture will show me and my "little brother" (yes, I have a younger brother - he is not my son) at my all time worst weight (almost makes me want to cry at how bad off I was) - 367 Pounds and the next photo will show me and my younger, but now larger brother, at 240 pounds. I will also include some photos of me now at 230 pounds. I just want to close by saying that RNY was the tool that helped me to changed my life around 360 degrees. Key word is tool. I constantly work my tail off in the gym lifting weights 50 minutes, running/walking 30-45 minutes, and doing the eliptical machine 20-30 minutes. Taz
367 # - Me and my little brother
240 # - Me and my now larger brother
The last two pictures show me weighing 230 Pounds and feeling fantastic. Be Good, Taz
Dayyyummm Taz! You're becoming one buff ol' dude!! Man, I'm really happy for you. That is an awesome transformation so far, and I'm sure you're not finished! You're definitely an inspiration to others. Keep up the good work brother!
So far, I've lost a total of about 102 pounds, with 79 of those lost since my surgery on 4/28/08. Can't complain with the results thus far, but can't wait to get back to a regular gym schedule.
Proud for ya brother - Keep on keepin' on!!
Taz
Hey Taz,
I'm one of those guys still trying to muster the courage to pull the trigger and get on the wagon with the rest of you and I agree that one of the biggest pursuaders is not just the numbers, but the pictures you guys post as well. I just want to comment that it's not the weight or shape of your body that's most changed in your before and after pics, but the look in your eyes that's more telling of the relief you've found. Thanks for sharing your story!
