Great story about your coach and spittng his tobacco at you, Bluedog. Brings back memories to my football days. Even in today's PC world, I be thinkin' football coaches are still being "football coaches" which is cool.

Great you're thinking of protein first but just remember all protein (food) ain't made equal. Fried chicken at KFC is indeed protein but it's also full of fat from the frying. Good lean chicken or turkey breast, grilled or deli style is like 97% fat free.

Fast food = fried food = fat **** poor from a weight loss or nutritional perspective.

Best of luck with your journey. Sounds like the exercise side of your "gettin' healthy" equation is kickin' ass.

Ken, I knew a guy who played high school football in the 1940s.  He would line up on the line...and spit chewing tobacco into his opponent's eye!!

Hell, all of these guys know more about what's right ande what's wrong than I do, but I'll throw in my two cents anyway just in case it'll help. I'm on the road quite a bit and don't ever want to take the time to pull over and eat in a sit down resturant so the only thing that fit my gogo schedule was  eating lunch out of a convenience store. When I  can find one that sells "Lunchables" I buy them and that makes a pretty decent lunch. Ham or Turkey with some cheese and crackers. About 350 calories with quite a bit of protein. When the store I stoped in didn't have lunchables I was stuck with either peanuts or those pre-made sandwiches, neither of which is a good choice. So I decided to basically create my own lunchables at home and take them with me. I grill up about 3 lbs of chicken at once and put about 8-10 oz in in individual zip lock bags. Then I fill another zip lock bag with some whole wheat crackers and cheddar slices and throw both bags in my little cooler along with 6-8 half liter bottles of water and I'm good for the day. Don't even have to take the time to stop at a convenience store. I don't know if this would work for you or not, but it would sure beat getting multiple ass-eatings over the KFC thing. And it might help you get out of a stall. Although to be quite honest, I'm not sure how much weight I've lost in the last 2 wks. It doesn't feel like I've lost much. I'll weigh next week and find out. I may be eating crow like a mofo and stopping in at KFC.
The free man owns himself. He can damage himself with either eating or drinking....... If he does he is certainly a damn fool, and he might possibly be a damned soul; but if he may not, he is not a free man any more than a dog.

Here's some thing things to remember and to help. I'm not kicking your ass about KFC yet. LOL

Muscle weighs more than fat.

Are you losing inches and not pounds. Sometimes the body readjusts itself.

Drink more water. Water can flush and restart a stall.

Vary your food routing. Try more protein one day. More exercise another.

I would think about adding veggies.  and cutting pb and pudding and stuff. MY OPINION not fact.

Relax You might be stressing too much about this. It will start up again but WTF do I know

Hey snickle, MUSCLE does not WEIGH MORE than FAT.
5 pounds is 5 pounds. But, muscle is denser and more compact than fat, plus muscle burns fat.

Not trying' to bust ya, just wanting to clarify that.
