How long to wait for sex?

How long did you have to wait after surgery befor you could have sex again?  Is it like your diet where you have to start off with soft stuff and work your way up?

You should wait until you're out of the recovery room.

I had to wait until they removed my Foley catheter!

To give you a straight answer to your question there ain't no coochie worth injuring yourself over.  You might come across some the ol' lady might injure your ass over if she catchs you messing with it but when it comes to bumping uglies post op if it hurts - STOP! 

ya know, my doc didn't say anything about waiting, but quite honestly, with the way my stomach felt for the first two weeks or so....
