Hate xposts, but photos on profile

OK, after all the positive comments from having posted this on other boards last night, I've become an attention *****    In the event that you hadn't read this elsewhere, here 'tis:

Until recently, I never bothered to add text or photos to my profile, mainly because I was lazy. When I went in for hip surgery at the end of July, I decided to write that up (if only so that I could write it only once -- as I said: "lazy".) But I have been tracking my progress with photos all along, so I finally uploaded a few today. There are two albums: "RNY progress" and "My new hip". Enjoy!

Great progress, Foobear! Congratulations on your success to date. I really enjoyed "the belt" photog and your related commentary.

I was clearly still under the influence of the anesthesia (from two surgeries in 4 days!) when they took that picture of me!    I realize now that I'd lost 25 pounds pre-op, so my pants and belt were already too loose.  I wish I'd had a photo from last August when I started my pre-op diet, but like many WLS candidates, before my surgery, I avoided cameras like a vampire avoids garlic.

I still have 65 or 70 more pounds to lose, at least if I want to get to a BMI below 25.  Being short (5'3") really sucks BMI-wise!
