It is to be expected. You still got pain meds working their out of your system. Each day you will feel a little more active. You had major surgery. This ain't a walk in the park. Yeah it takes a while to get your sea legs back. Make sure you walk walk walk and sip sip sip

Takes a while to get your strength and stamina back. Just try to increase your activity a little more each day. And make sure you stay well hydrated - sip, sip, sip and walk, walk, walk!

Nothing really to add that hasn't been said other than to say that, yes, you are normal.  I went back to work after 2 weeks (at a desk job) and still DIED everyday after work.  You'll get better!

Two days after you and I haven't had much problem with fatigue. I've been off work, going back Monday, and I have been bored. So I've tried to use the free time to get active. Yesterday I did a 6.5 mile hike. Today I did a 20-mile bike ride, a ride I had gotten used to before surgery. Today, I know what you mean, it kicked my butt. Came home from the ride, lied down, and woke up 2 hours later! Time to slow down a bit.

At that point I was the same way.  I called the doc and they suggested I was starving myself.  It worked I made a good effort at getting in more calories and the energy level went up accordingly.
