Protein Jell-O Recipe(s)

Here is a recipe for PROTEIN JELL-O that my wife makes for me. It's just another way to help get in protein, and Jell-0 is easy on the pouch!  Hope ya like it and it helps you some!

Use Sugar Free Jell-O 
Follow directions for preparation of a 4 oz/4 servings box of Sugar Free Jell-O  (strawberry, cherry, black cherry, or mixed berry)
Follow package directions for dissolving Jell-O in boiling water. Add 1 fruit punch flavored protein bullet (26 or 42 grams of protein) Add ice to water to equal 1 cup. Stir with ice into dissolved Jell-O until ice has melted Place in freezer for at least 30 minutes to chill quickly.  
NOTE: You can add another protein bullet (42 or 26 g) if you like - just  deduct 3 oz. of water or only use 1/2 cup of ice

 For you mathematically challenged, if you use 2 of the 42 gram Protein shots, that's 84 grams of protein for the whole bowl.  If you use 2 of the 26 gram Protein shots, that's 52, grams of protein for the whole bowl. Or, you can add one 42 gram shot and one 26 gram shot for a total of 68 grams of protein for the whole bowl.

Good stuff, I eat it all the time and easy to make I even make it in the truck with my microwave and pour it in those throw away 1/2 cup containers.

Sounds good, but haven't heard of the protein bullet.   Is there a certain brand name and where do you get them?  Michael

They look like a test tube. GNC and most stores like GNC carry them also Wal-Mart carries them in the pharmacy with the protein powders and EAS shakes. Also EAS shakes are pretty good added to your coffee both Chocolate & French Vanilla makes it a little easier for those having trouble getting in their protein. Also if you add 1/3 cup of Carnations Instant Milk (the old powdered milk) to any of your meals like oatmeal instead of water it bumps your protein by 8g. Cheaper then protein powder, not as good, but doesn't clump? C'ya Bob
