A big thank you and a lil FART

Well as I said before, I don't post much, but I read almost every day. I just have to say, you all are so inspirational, I can't tell you how pivotal you are to my success. I read what you are doing and how you are doing it and it just motivates me even more! And so much of what is being said here is in synch with my thoughts that it's almost scary. For example, I have been wanting to go buy a bike, and what do you know? Boner is right there to help me along the way! (thanks Boner!!) I start thinking about another way to supplement my protein on those "busy" days, and people start sharing their protein jello and shooter recommenations! And when I see the IDGOMB's I am motivated to hit the gym! I went from a 15 minute level 1 random hill setting on the treadmill and feeling like heart's going to explode, to a 30 minute level 6 setting random hill and am ready to rank it up again!

I truly don't think I could have done half of what I am doing without the support of all of you. For that I will be eternally grateful!

Now for my lil FART .

When I started the serious part of WLS and getting ready for surgery, I weighed 437 and was wearing a 6x (due to a very large belly/pannus) and my pants were the same. On Monday night (after mine and my wife's workout) we stopped by Fred Meyer (a combo dept/grocery store) and we were looking for a swimsuit for her. I decided to look around to see what they might have for the "big man" and low and behold they had a big and tall section. I proceeded to look and I tried on some things. Sure enough, I fit into a 4x shirt and shorts! I knew I could wear 5x but I just can't afford Casual Male (so damned expensive!) So I am exstatic and wanted to share this with the people that helped me get there.

Thanks for everything you guys! I owe a lot of my success to you!

Congrats to ya on the drop in sizes! Spray a shot of Glade, will ya?!

This is a great place for support for us fellas, that is for sure. We can get info and answers to questions, share ideas and thoughts, share experiences that may help others **** and moan, and just shoot the bull with other guys who have been there.  Yep, this forum is a big part of my support and what success  I have had thus far.

I've shared this before but it is a good reminder.  Don't go hog wild on new clothes.  You will be out of them in weeks.  When your think your done losing and go out and buy the new stuff (it's just a stall)...the weightloss starts again and your out of those new clothes.  Try to borrow from friends and family or hit the thrift stores (Goodwill or Salvation Army).  My jeans I wear were borrowed from my nephew, who just gave them to me.  Just my thoughts.  Brian
