The Sunday Weekly Weigh-In
August 31st!

[Congratulations to All for your accomplishments this past week!]

...just in your first weeks home? Hang in there,
It DOES GET EASIER!
.... just hitting your first stall?   It happens to many....
Eventually you will be able to scan back over the last months of this weekly post,
And get a fairly clear picture of the fact that there isn’t a "Typical" progress,
Just persistent, overwhelming - PROGRESS!

Yes, using the scales can make some crazy,
(Slower loss is Still Loss!)
-But-
Keeping track and forcing myself to "Watch It!"
Has been the "What works for Me," for maintaining my loss.
I’ll eat, but know that I need to exercise a little bit more
If the numbers climb just a little.
That way,
I only make "Little" adjustments to my weekly routine.
If the "Scales Make You Discouraged?"
Then STAY OFF of Them!

But for those who Are weighing in-
Drum roll--------------------------------------

Hop your Azz up on the Scales!

How much have you lost?
Since Surgery?
Or in Pre-Op Diet?

And has the Scale moved this week for you?
If so, How Much?

My Starting Weight? – 385 +
All Time Low – 179

Me?- (saturday night weight...)
186 (Back to my "Normal" and it's my Saturday weight!)

So, What about YOU?

Well I know I am down.

I am using my home scale and I am not exactly confident in it but just prior to surgery to now it is 13 pounds. matching what I think I took off in the month prior to surgery! Just need to figure out what the Dr office says compared to mine. I know the last 13 pounds is comparing apples to apples.

5'4"
highest 272 (6/08)
at surgery 258 (8/25)
current weight 245

Dagnabbit. Holding steady at 317. Retaining water in my lower extremities from 1100 mile drive in 22 hours AFTER a full day of work. Weird week from Hell and some not so hot choices. I'll do better this week.

Starting weight was 384!  1-23-07

For the past couple of months have been around 185ish.  Today was at 182.

Haven't had my morning sit down yet so I am guessing it will drop a couple afterwards LOL.

Take another 4 off this week for me to 214.2.  Century City is looming on the horizon!  Just have to be patient a little longer.  Could have put the 212.4 on there after mowing the yard yesterday but will go with what was on scales this AM.

Never, and I mean NEVER, trust a fart!!

I don't know how much I weighed exactly at the time of surgery.  However it was somewhere around 295-300.  3 weeks 5 days post op I am at  265.
