IGOMB Sunday
Well, I did it. Got out my bike and my wife even joined me with her fancy bike and mileage, speed gage that told me exactly how far and how fast I was going. So, here are the results for me on my first bike ride since surgery three plus weeks ago. I rode for a little more than an hour and covered ten miles, mostly on a dirt bicycle trail. There were some small hills and the view was gorgeous. I live in a very pretty area next to the mississippi river. Going north I averaged 11/8 miles an hour (on a comfort bike). Coming back against the wind, I averaged 8 miles an hour. I was pretty wiped by the time I came back but enjoyed it very much.

Hehe...
1.5 hours mtn biking - the hills felt like flats!
3 hours Bikram hot yoga - Oh no! It's getting easy too, probably time to start getting my heartrate up through motion alone for about five days.
This morning (Monday now). A slightly overweight coworker is doing the P90X yoga with me. It's different from Bikram. A lot of upper body. Bikram's upper body is almost all stretch work. There is some pulling, but if you have been lifting weights it's disappointing.
I hit a bucket of balls at the driving range for the first time and then we went for a bike ride in the country. I rode 6 miles and only had to stop once on a hill. That is also a first as I usually rest and water more often.
