Wanted to say hello to all my brothers out there! Well all the loose ends will be tied up by Sept 17th...then the surgeons office will FINALLY start to file with the insurance...once approved the Dr will review my results and I get to get my ass in there and get a date!!

Still doing Optifast...though I have to admit this weekend will be my 3 months on program and the not eating anything is getting a bit tiresome...but I have not cheated on program. I hope everyone is doing well...and the scale is moving in the right direction for you!

Hello back at ya! Sounds like the scales are moving in the right direction for you.  Sounds like you have been waiting for a long time and now you are seeing some movement.  Great news.

One wee****il it's show time, Rob! Best of luck and congrats on the great job you've done pre-WLS. I have no doubt you're going to kick major butt post-WLS.

Hello again Rob.  What a great start on your weight loss before surgery.   Your efforts are commendable.   keep up the great work.  You'll feel like your at a feast when you get to the post-surgery soft food stage.

Three months on optifast w/o cheating??????

You sir, are a double-nutted stud!!
The free man owns himself. He can damage himself with either eating or drinking....... If he does he is certainly a damn fool, and he might possibly be a damned soul; but if he may not, he is not a free man any more than a dog.

All I can say is that after 3 months on Optifast, the immediate post-op food stages that everyone complains about will (literally) be like pieces of cake!   Talk about discipline!  Everything you've accomplished so far will serve you in great stead.

Great Job Rob!!!

You should be proud of yourself, you are doing great.  I really believe this will set up you for success with your post op diet.  I never would have believe a SF popsicle could taste so good or crystal lite.

Keep up the good work
