IDGOMB Hump Day
O****ep stepping it up a notch with my lunch walk. Today, I managed to beat 35 minutes on my 2.5 mile walk. That means I am approaching 4.5 miles an hour. What I have been doing is intermittant jogging (When no one is looking). It still hurts my bouncing stomach to do that too much but it gets my heart and sweat going. One thing I ahve noticed is that I don't sweat nearly as much as I used to. I used to sweat just looking at the trees. That is a definate benefit to this WLS. Just 6 weeks ago, I would get so out of breath and sweaty just walking from the parking lot to a 7am meeting. It used to be embarrassing for me to have to keep wiping the sweat off of my bald forehead. Oh, one more thing. I am in a 17 1/2 dress shirt today. FART
Morning: P90X Cardio as was detailed in the previous post (CardioX) Night: Bikram Hot Yoga, 90 minutes. This week is different from the previous ones in that I've been doing P90X EVERY morning and hot yoga EVERY night, whereas before, I was resting 2-3 days between yoga sessions and doing multiple P90X sessions. The consecutive days seem to pay dividends in terms of flexibility and fat loss from the skin (a rumored benefit of hot yoga and repeated profuse, profuse sweating - it would be hard to sweat that much for that long during any other activity.).
