Do you still eat at fast food restaurants?
Burger King and Wendys use to be my haunts but I can honestly say that over the last 3 years since WLS, I've eaten at a fast food restaurant less than 10 times total. My thinkin' is avoid the temptation so I don't slip back into the old habit of the old double whopper with cheese.
Fast food joints may have some healthy selections but I know I ain't ordering those when I go through the arches. .
How bout' you guys?

I have the unusual advantage of living in a place where there is not a single fast food restaurant. Other then when travelling, I have not been to one in 7 years. However, that's not a completely good thing, because the restaurants where I live are all nice sit-down places. The portions are often even larger, and fattier. I've gone out to a restaurant once since surgery--had to for work-related purposes--and ended up ordering a blackened salmon entree. On the plate there was enough mashed potatoes to last me 5 meals, enough salmon to last me 4 meals, and then sauteed squash and spinach to last 8 meals. It was a real eye-opening experience because I know that 2 months ago I would've been the first one to have cleaned my plate. So it's going to be almost all home cooking for me!

Hmmm... Duxbury or Dover?
I had the same reaction to eating out at restaurants; an obscene amount of food, and the reminder that I used to eat that way still unnerves me. Needless to say I can count on one hand the number of times I've gone to restaurants in the past 9 months.
As you point out, fast food places, since they're all a la carte, make it even easier to cheat on a smaller scale. I've stayed well away from them since my surgery; I don't want to test myself needlessly.

No fastfood restaurants at all???
Either (1) you're living on a desert island (2) they're ilegal where you live (?) or (3) you fib!
(where IS this mythical place, and is it near Puff and the Land Of Ona Lee?
)

Boner,
Wasn't it you that made the comment that "all fast food is evil"? Seem to recall seeing something from you along that line.
Only true fast food will be the baked fish from Long John Silvers and it has been several months since that dish. Tore me up so no mas. May hit the local Sonic for glass of iced tea but as far as fast food in general - not "no" but "HELL NO"!
