Protein Shots?
Ugh...those things are TERRIBLE! Protein Slam, if I remember correctly. I thought I was having some kind of allergic reaction to the crap. My whole body was itching and tingling like little ants biting me.
Also, those protein shots, at least the few brands I've seen, have crap protein in them. Boiled hooves for all I care. I wouldn't depend on them in the least. Skip the shot, grab a hard boiled egg.

They look like a large test tube, New Whey o sugar o fat but do have 176 cal. I get the 42g great for making the jell-o or drink 1/2 straight which is only 1.5 oz several flavors I usually get fruit punch. These can be found at GNC or any like store for about $3.69. Now in the pharmacy section of Wal-mart where you would find the EAS shakes they have Super Whey Protein Shots 26g $1.95 ea. but they usually don't carry a large quantity I've only seen fruit punch, also 0 sugar, 0 fat 11o calories. If you want to make the jell-o (ask will repost the directions) or you can add to hot tea pretty good or just drink it down. C'ya Bob
I get mine at WallyWorld. They 26 grams of protein in a 3 oz shot.
I use them and the Myoplex Lite shakes (20 grams of protein) to make sure I get in enough protein. They are a big help for me, especially on those days when I just have no desire for food.
The shots are great for mixing in SF Jello so you can get in more protein too!
Oh, and if you are a coffee drinker, you can pour some of the Myoplex Lite (chocolate or vanilla) into your coffee. Gives it a little flavor like the fufu coffee, and ya get in some extra protein.

Haven't I read some controversy on the forums here about the protein bullets/shots not being all "bio-available" protein? I haven't tried them, so I'm not sure. But seems like I read something. I tried a new protein shake today. I fell for the advertising banner, and the special that included a free blender ball shaker, and got a couple of jars of the Click protein. Very tasty. It's only 15g of protein (and 120 cal) but it's also a hit of espresso (about the same caffeine as a 12 oz cup of coffee) and tastes like one of the Starbucks frappacino drinks (blended with ice).
Most (not all) of the candy-fruit-flavored "protein bullets" (or "protein *****es", as I call them) contain hydrolyzed collagen (read: gelatin) as their protein source, which has a PDCAAS score of 0, due to its lacking many essential amino acids. In other words, all the calories of protein, without the ability to effectively use the amino acids for protein synthesis!
Protein supplements ("shots" or otherwise), which are milk/casein/whey, soy or egg-based, have PDCAAS scores close to 1.0 which is as good as it gets.
Some of these protein shots also contain beta-alanine, a substance which sounds like an amino acids (it's not) but causes pins-and-needles paresthesias. This tells bodybuilders that the supplement is "working". (Better they should stick with genuine anabolic steroids!)

I just posted to another similiar question. At the risk of sounding like an employee of IDS, I've been using the IDS New Whey for 2 years now. I like them because they have high protein content (42G in a 3 OZ portion) Have only 2 carbs 175 calories, 0 sugars, 0 fat. They taste "ok" but can be mixed easily in water bottles with things like the Crystal Light single packs.

Edit added : IDS New Whey does have collegen protein which lacks some essential amino acids which was pointed out by another poster to this question. I don't know about other pre-mixed "bullet" protein supplements. The IDS New Whey formulation uses three types of protein collagen, whey and casein. Together these proteins are complete, and extremely bioavailable (easily absorbed without gastronomic distress)
It's amazingly hard to find clear information about protein since the "best" version depends on what you are needing - many protein supplement users are not WLS'ers. This blog entry explains the IDS formulation pretty well. http://www.fitsense.co.uk/blog/?p=40
