I never had actual dreams about food. Rather, I can home with this bizarre craving for bologna and tuna salad sandwiches (not on the same bread). What was odd was that while I like both, there's about 4500 other things I'd eat first.

When mushy food came around, the first thing I did was make tuna salad in a blender. It looked like hell, but went down SOOOOO good...

Well, glad others have had the same.  I am feeling really good -- better each day.  Am SO looking forward to next Monday when I start the mushies.  I am craving everything.  Hard to sit through restaraunt commercials.  The other day I was craving Church's chicken.  I wouldn't have done it, but even thought about getting a piece, just chewing it and spitting it out.  EVERYTHING sounds good.   Bought a can of Campbells Healthy Choice bean soup yesterday and put in vegtable broth instead of water, heated it up and then drained it through a colander and drank the broth.  OMG that tasted so good!

I am so happy that you're doing well I would guess the carvings especially now would take some time to get over. I just cant wait till I cant just give in to a LITTLE now and then. Keep us posted its helping me prepare myself.

Michael,

Great news on the not having to use insulin.

If you are dreaming about food so much after they operated on your stomach think of the dreams you could be having if they had operated on your willy?

Never, and I mean NEVER, trust a fart!!

Thanks goodness you weren't dreaming about marshmallows. Your pillow might have disappeared. The  body does not let go willingly sometimes but

It just amazes me how quickly our health improves after having WLS.

Glad to hear the blood sugar is under control and you are off the insulin Michael! This surgery "tool" is truly amazing. While it is not an "end all-fix all", it does allow one to use it for fantastic improvements in the quality of life, and probably the quantity of life too!
