It's Friday night here in Nippon...

Got in a single workout this evening with one of my workout partners who had thrown his back out and made his return debut with me to the tune of the P90X Chest Shoulders and Triceps workout DVD.

Gotta rest up 'cause tomorrow morning it's Hot Yoga with the babes of Bikram and I'm sure to be the only dude there!

Awesome job RockyTop. I recently read an article in Men's Health which said if you can only do one exercise in order to get fit, it be the almighty pull-up. You're doin' 20 of those suckers which is frickin' awesome man. I can do a couple at best. Power to weight physics coming into play again, huh?

Did my regular 40 minute walk.  Doesn't seem very exciting compared to notDave but it is something.  When it starts getting too cold here I will start using the MY HEALTH room at work and doing more weights and running on the treadmill.  The weather is just too nice right now and I love the fall in WIsconsin along the Mississippi river.  Running on the road hurts too much still.  On the treadmill it is more tolerable.

On another note:  I talked with my neighbors again last night at the HS football game ( our boys are in the Band) about doing the Sprint with me next summer.  I think I told you that I challenged them before I had my WLS to do it with me next summer and they said that they would (laughing because they thought for sure I was joking).  Well, one of them said he was still up to it.

When I was at the north shore of superior, I decided I wanted to go into the boundary waters next year carrying our canoes.  I brought it up last night, and we are going to try to get three or four of us men in the neighborhood doing that next summer.  That will be fun too!!!  IT is so fun having my energy back again. I never thought I would even think about doing such things again.
