Ten months out today and life is great!!!
HS reunion was great. Most of these people haven't seen me since the 10 year reunion back in '88 and I probably weighed about the same amount then that I do now. So they knew no difference which was fine with me. Most of them told the same old lie that I hadn't changed a bit and I had to point out that the hair is a sad remnant of what it was and that I'm 45 lbs heavier than when I graduated. But I appreciated them taking the trouble to lie to me. I'll tell you one thing though. There's some damned niced looking 48 year old women out there. And some of them were in my class.
The free man owns himself. He can damage himself with either eating or drinking....... If he does he is certainly a damn fool, and he might possibly be a damned soul; but if he may not, he is not a free man any more than a dog.
