Getting great support here

I thought I'd been active in the forum in the past week but one of the men contacted me since he didn't see my posts.  He was actually concerned that I might be sick.  It feels good to know that men care about me.

I tend to no longer post in response to new post-ops because I just don't remember what it was like.  My wife remembers it all but I don't.  I also have nothing to say about guys who are considering plastic surgery.  But there's enough other material discussed here to get involved.

I was just busy reading a series of 5 novels this weekend.  I started out the summer not reading at all and I've become a reading fool since then.  Sorry to say, I've become hooked on romance novels.  And, my wife has dozens and dozens of them.

Well Bob I was just about to wrote you to. I've been missing thos bike posts. How is that going anyway/

Bob you have a wealth of knowledge to pass onto noobs. Look at what you have been through.  Your knowledge of fruits and the entire emotional side of WLS and eating. I know I get a great deal of info from you when you post. They will also.

So, what is it you're reading? I must admit my wife not only hooked me on a romance series, but one written for TEEN AGE GIRLS! The Twilight series by Stephanie Myers is really good. Finished it last week.

Now I'm reading "Water for Elephants" by Sara Gruen. It's proving to be one of my favorites.

I'm a reading freak too. I've read 4424 pages since the end of May. I started keeping track...isn't that nerdy of me?

Hey Brudder,

Ain't nothing "nerdy" about liking to read.

Never, and I mean NEVER, trust a fart!!

lol. I meant that my keeping a spreadsheet of title/author/pub.date/genre/#pages/rating is nerdy...I think you may agree with that

I am also reading Water for Elephants.  I agree that it is a very good book.  I guess I am a nerd also because I have been tracking what I have been reading also.

Any other suggestions for good books.

I recently read The Road, by Cormac McCarthy. It was a really crazy post-apocolypse book. Disturbing the whole way through, good ending. Worth reading.

My two favorite all-time books are "Pillars of the Earth", Ken Follet and "Cry the Beloved Country", Alan Paton
