Didn't realize you were a high school football coach. You continue to amaze me sir.
My all-time favorite football movie has to be Friday Night Lights. Very realistic football action shots and truly portrayed the intensity of high school football in Tejas. Plus, how can you go wrong with ZZ Top as the soundtrack.
Titans was a great story, with great actors, but loses out on the realistic football action. In particular, when they ran a 70 yard reverse on the final play to win the state championship. To me, Varsity Blues was more about the hell raisin' we all did in high school but not so much about the football per se.
All time basketball move???? Gotsta be Hoosiers, hands down!

I'm certainly not being critical of you. And I realise that movies are made to be entertaining and sell tickets. Documentaries are made to portray reality. Although that seems to be a stretch for some of them. My wife hates going to movies with me because I have a hard time suspending my disbelief if it's one of those movies that's trying to take itself seriously and then strays to far in to bull**** land. I'm sure there are FBI agents out there that are disgusted with Rush Hour. But I laugh my ass off every time I see it.
