Well you don't have to convince me that OH is cheap as ****lol.

Welcome to the forum, losing over 300 lbs is a big deal, it chages your life (speaking as someone who has lost 303 lbs myself), at the same time I'm sure you have the added "bonus" of having everyone guestimate when you will regain like carnie or al roker, or the guy from amercian idol..what the heck is his name? you know the one that won, but we never heard from him again?

So anyway welcome to OH....

I have to be completely honest. I had not the slightest idea that you were ever in a movie.. I had to read your profile but I didnt see it. I knew nothing about it...... So sorry..
I will check it out though ... (But if I watch your movie you have to come see me perform in LA..) I also had no idea about the convention... (too involved with my diet)
But, I think the choice to have you speak has more to do with the journey you have taken and the results of the work put into it. Just reading you profile and seeing your pics is enough motivate someone to make it to the finish line.
My hats off to you for being willing to tell your story in front of so many people.

(hey, at least I didn't cause problems w. THIS thread!)

But seriously, Scottie ..  I think you asked about Ron's PS ..   I had read somewhere that he has had a total of 17 post-op procedures to date (which must be a record for a WLSer ..  lol) ..  is that correct, Ron?

I, too, have to admit I was somewhat worried about the "promotional" tone of the posts and the profile  . . And it almost seemed, IMHO, like they were maybe being "ghostwritten" by someone else, maybe a fan club officer or something ..  Just a gut feeling based on how repetitive parts of them seemed  to be ..   I wondered if maybe someone were playing an elaborate hoax on OH  ..       But now everything seems copasetic  (sp. ?) and, as someone mentioned, "real"   .

Frank talk about the DS / "All I ever wanted to be was thin, like that Rolling Stones dude ... "

Ron,
I spent a lot of time looking at your videos and found them fascinating, especially the Montel one.

Keep up the good work and don't let negativity get you down!
