Got to visit with Bob L. yesterday!
Our buddy Bob L. had a delivery in Oneonta, AL, yesterday morning. When he headed back north to TN, he gave me a call and we met up for coffee. It was great to get to visit with him face to face for a while. I gotta tell you folks, his photos don't really tell the whole story. The guy looks fantastic! I would not have even recognized him if he had not been driving a truck with his name on it! He's slim and trim, and the exercising and bicycling is definitely paying off - he has great muscle definition in his legs and arms. I also gotta mention the rolling mansion he drives! That truck of his is awesome - all the comforts of home! It is really impressive the way he has rigged an exercise platform in the back and has a rack for his bike on the rear of the cab. His dedication to exercising and making the WLS tool work to the max is definitely inspiring. I mean, think about it. He is driving all over the country, yet he finds time to ride the bike, do situps, pushups, and weight training - all while on the road making a living! Bob pays it forward and is always very positive and supportive of others too.
Bobby my boy, I'm really proud for ya and equally as impressed! Keep up the good work, buddy!!

It sure is Boner. Bob had his surgery a couple of weeks before me and we both have the same surgeon at Vandy. I dropped in and visited with him when he had his surgery. He also came by and visited with me when I had my surgery. We have more or less gone through this together, so we are pretty close and talk a lot. It was the first time I had seen him since my surgery back in April, so I was truly surprised at how much he has changed as far as looks. The guy is doing a great job!
Wish I could meet more of the fellas here, including you!

Well it goes without saying how much I enjoy having one on one time it really personalize the support group.
But let me tell you Bama your looking great and not only your own personnel gym time but its great how you've gotten your co-workers involved in exercise and their spouses. You not only talk the talk but you walk the walk!
Your a great guy and I really appreciate your friendship.
Boner that goes for you I appreciate you mentoring me in my cycling, you have more confidence in me then I had in myself.
I hope I can continue to meet guys from the board like you guys and jbob.
Just got back from 51.2 mile ride! What a beautiful fall day her in Tennessee.

Rock,
I used to have a friend who was a contract Flight Engineer for ANA and then JAL. Cushy job for the foreign pilots for 3-5 years. Then they're back to the states.
He could never get me any free tickets. I think he probably could have but the bureacracy in doing so meant he would only be able to take care of his immediate family.
Just let me know if you're trucking through these parts. Watch the winter weather, though. From December to May it's 2-6 feet of snow accumulation. We get the most snow of any real "City" in the world. Clearing the snow completely is an impossibility. We just drive on the snow. After May it's nice though. Very little precip.
Best Wishes,
David
