Jose Garza ("1,000 Lb. Man") Loses Battle
From a post on the DS forum. I had been following both Jose and Manuel Uribe's ("the Half Ton Man") journies, and this is a real bummer. So ironic too that Jose passes in the same week that his bud Manuel announces his happy marriage. Jose was the same age as me, and I feel like that would have been me by now if I hadn't had WLS 2 years ago. So sad that Jose didn't get that chance ...
