Well, after my post from Boner's "fess up", and my well-deserved ass kickin from BamaBob, I am not going to screw this up and do it half ass.  I am going to be accountable.  I did go yesterday and walked a 1/2 mile, and a 1/2 mile today.  Kind of embarrased because it's not the 50 mile bike ride, or a 10 mile run, but I am starting somewhere.  Will work up from here.  Michael

That is nothing to be ashamed of, nice  job getting your ass kickin the pavement instead of from others.  I walked 20 minutes today.  Busy day at work, all week in fact.

Michael Just stay tough...... We'll have to trade notes on the whole workout thing.. I have just stepped mine up a bit. Im going every morning to the health club down the street. As of this week I am now working out about an hour a day at the health club and then walking about 30 min extra around the building I work at be for my shift starts. So I am getting Prob about an hour of cardio in and about 30min resistance training. I havent even had surgery yet.. (Im hoping my results will be more apparent after surgery)
But, its taken a few months to work up to this. Almost the whole 6....  But, you can do it. After a while you start to crave the workout. Just do try SPINNING YET... I found out the hard way that thats a little advanced for some of us.  Well unless your brave.. Will update you on that later.

All I got in were 2 15 minute walks, and I bowled 3 games throwing a 14 pound ball. That has to count as something, right? I also drank a 24 oz bottle of water during each game, so there was additional walking going to the men's room every 10 minutes.

Lifted weights in the morning and badgered a friend into starting the couch to 5k program.
I had done it once before, but he is trying to lose weight so I'm trying to help him stay motivated now.
