It's YOUR case tht is most important to you, and the staff has several cases to handle. I'm sure the coordinator at Vandy got tired of my emails and phone calls, but I didn't care if he did. I was constantly monitoring the process and making sure no one "dropped the ball". Some who did not monitor their cases had delays and other problems getting approved.

Now just step back and take a breath.. Chances are that the surgeons office knows what they're doing. (HOPEFULLY) I wouldnt stress over it... I have just started that same end of the process my self.. The girl that does all that at my doctors office advised me that they will double check all of the info provided by me to make sure that I have the best shot possible of getting approval. I believe she said in most cases you can only submit 3x a year if Im not mistaken so they'll make sure every things right before they send it. That maybe whats happening.
Till you know dont turn your frustration into self abuse... We've been doing that for years.... Might be a good time to try a new method at coping with stress. Try taking a walk instead,, So far its working for me. I would be interested to know how long it actually takes to get the approval.. The Doctors office did say it can take up to 30 days but also said that not an exact science either.. So keep us udated.
