I had my surgery 1 month ago and to date I can only eat 3 oz. of protein before I'm done.
I feel uncomfortable and I have to stop.  Is this normal?  Should I be able to eat more?
How much were you guys eating at 1 month out?

Sounds about right to me. Actually, the first two or three months after surgery I could only eat about 2 or 3 oz. at one time.  I can now eat a 6 oz can of tuna at one sitting, but I am totally full afterwards.

As they say - enjoy the "honeymoon"!

Quite normal. Don't worry about how much you can eat, just eat until you are satisfied which usually won't be very much haha.

Sounds ok to me.  Don't worry so much about measuring.  Just eat until your body says "enough"

Sounds good. You can make a protein shake with 3 oz of water n protein that will give you almost a full complement of vitamins n minerals

Not sure.  I would check on the DS board here at OH.  What I would do is put 2-3oz of cottagecheese on my nightstand at night.  If I had to pee in the middle of the night I would have the cottagecheese.  Got in extra protein without having to really think about it.  Brian
