Finally Home After Quite an Ordeal

Hey everyone,

My original surgery went quite well on 10/9 and went home on Saturday 10/12.  Saturday night I started having cold sweats and vomiting.  Went to emergency room locally because I could not take the hour ride to the hospital I had my surgery.  It ended up having a bowel obstruction and they had to open me up to fix everything.  I was ICU for 2 days and then 3 more in regular recovery.  So after all of this I am home as of last night (Friday) and doing well.  Stomach and diet changes are going well and settling well in my new pouch.  You all can appreciate the passing gas and BM after surgery and both have happened.

Thank  you for all your prayers for me and my family.  Also, for welcoming my wife posting on here for me.
